Nintendo had a major Wii Press Conference today in New York. Here's the main points...

× Release Date: November 19, 2006
× Price: 250$

Of course, there is a ton of more info one this. Mainly what comes with the system and some game demos for who went to the conference. However, there is one important thing I'd like to point out...

24 publishers have agreed to release games on the Virtual Console. One problem though: This is so far only for Japan. It'll most likely be the same for the US, but so far, it's confirmed for Japan
